Patch Notes
What's new in Lane Legends.
Update 1.5October 4, 2026
Balance pass and fixes for private testing
- Lane minions still get stronger over the match, but now hit towers and the Nexus with their starting damage, so unattended waves don't melt towers late.
- Nerfs: Kael's basic attack (85 to 74), Ember's basic attack (90 to 78) and Burning Ground ranks, Vex's Death Mark (+35% below half HP, 200 base), Lyra's Volley and Hana's Triple Shot (extra arrows on the same enemy deal 30%), Despair's Asura Path missiles (-33%), Sol's Blinding Flash stun (0.8s), Tsukasa's Binding Sigil (1.0s), Yuzuki's freeze and root ranks, Nyx's trap and Eclipse ranks, Gorr's stun and Stone Skin ranks, Gorou's Demon's Domain ranks, Seraphine's Aegis Bash (9s cooldown), G's Berserker Armor ranks, Miko's ultimate and passive (no heals off towers, half off minions), Locke's execute ranks.
- Buffs: Rin has more health (800). Locke's Soul Nails last 8s, so you can actually stack 3. Zephyr's meteors land closer to the middle. Lyra's and Hana's ultimates now get more volleys from ranks instead of thinner ones.
- Kaito's Whirlwind and Gabe's Gore Spin heal from enemy heroes, a little from minions, and not from towers.
- Gorou's Demon's Domain now really drags enemy heroes toward him. Gabe's Devil Unleashed adds 400 health instead of nearly healing to full. Kaito's ultimate boosts all his weapon damage.
- Fixes: shields from Seraphine's passive and barrier items no longer make other shields last forever; Rin's Counter Stance only triggers on nearby hero hits; Seraphine's link uses her armor; a tower or minion last-hitting a hero gives the kill to the last enemy hero who hit them; attack speed is capped at 2.5x; Nyx's trap works near towers; Vex can't Death Mark a tower; Jax's High Noon misses if the target got away or went invisible.
- Matchmaking: no more getting stuck on "searching" after a failed teleport, long waits no longer drop you out of the queue, teams can't end up uneven, and private lobbies clean up players whose server closed.
- Controls: closing Settings while rebinding a key no longer freezes your keyboard; clicking inside menus no longer makes your hero attack; Tab views close properly after alt-tab; phones get a scoreboard + objectives button and bigger ability "+" buttons.
- Account progress is protected: a failed load can no longer overwrite your level, wins or objectives.
- Nyx's Thorn Wall now blocks projectiles and sight, not just movement. Despair's Preta dome disappears when its Path dies.
- Surrender votes reset every match. A bot that replaces a dead player (or a player who rejoins) waits out the respawn timer instead of respawning instantly.
- Rejoining works for every match. Bots with a full inventory sell an item they don't need so they can keep buying.
- Thornhide Mail keeps the +5% slow resist from its Riveted Bracer. The lobby friends list also finds friends who are in a match.
- Anti-cheat: dashes, blinks and teleporters only allow their own distance.
Update 1.4October 3, 2026
Objectives and ability ranks
- New: Objectives. 3 daily, 3 weekly and 8 lifetime milestones. Hold Tab anytime, or click Objectives in the lobby. Rewards are account XP.
- Objective progress counts in matches with 4 or more real players and is saved when the match ends. During a match, you can see what you've done so far.
- Ability points reworked: Q, E and R now go to rank 4, the ultimate to rank 3. 15 points in all (levels 1-14), exactly enough for every rank. Each rank gives a bigger bonus, so a maxed ability is as strong as before.
- Ultimates now unlock at level 8 (ranks 2 and 3 at levels 11 and 14).
- Minions get stronger over the match: about double health by 10 minutes, up to 4x health and 3x damage around 30 minutes.
- Lyra's Volley gains arrows at ranks 3 and 4; Jax's Trick Shot gains a bounce at rank 4.
Update 1.3October 3, 2026
The Lobby
- New: the temple courtyard lobby. Queue for 6v6, form a party with friends, create private matches with a code, or practice any hero in the dojo.
- Public matches start once 2+ players have waited 45 seconds; empty spots are filled with bots.
- Matches are private: only players sent from the lobby can join.
- Disconnected? Rejoin your match from the lobby and take your hero back from the bot.
Update 1.2October 3, 2026
The major update
- New hero: Briar, the Thornbloom. A melee healer whose damage heals her team.
- Every hero has a new, more detailed character model.
- Map update: jungle buildings with stairs and rooftops, monsters that live inside buildings, side jungle camps outside the top and bottom lanes, and teleporters linking top and bottom.
- Soul Vaults on the rooftops: they open a few minutes in and give the whole team souls that grow over time.
- Towers have more range and their damage ramps up on heroes they keep shooting.
- Jungle monsters' rewards grow over the match.
- Fog of war is smoother; enemies fade in and out.
- The intro is back (skippable). Nobody enters the map until everyone has locked in a hero, then there's a 20-second countdown to shop.
- The scoreboard shows each team's total souls.
Update 1.1October 2, 2026

- Item shop overhaul: 84 items in five categories (Defense, Resist, Spirit, Weapon, Utility), built from cheaper parts, with a Recommended tab for every hero.
- Every hero's abilities reworked, with points that rank each ability up.
- Map detail pass: new trees, rocks, ruins and lighting.
- Settings: rebind any key.
